The challenge redesigning Ecology Action's web site was to present the wide scope of programs and services offered in an accessible manner. Overlaying multiple user interfaces and utilizing simple, approachable visuals keep the focus on Ecology Action's programs and content. The home page works to represent the large amount of resources within the site. Unique headers differentiate programmatic divisions within the site and help orient users. Database components installed include an events calendar with notifications, press release publishing tool, polling, and eNewsletter management software.

Ecology Action is a nonprofit environmental consultancy delivering cutting edge education services, technical assistance, and program implementation for initiatives that assist individuals, business and government to maximize environmental quality and community well being. Since 1970 Ecology Action has combined municipal, foundation, and private funding to establish cutting-edge conservation programs, prove their effectiveness financially and operationally, and establish each program as a permanent community resource.
