Judith Ann Burton was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1939. She has been interested in drawing and painting as long as she can remember. She began working with oils in high school. Judith majored in Art in college with a minor in education and received her BA from Pacific Lutheran University. Judith received her Masters Degree in counseling from Sonoma State University, and after teaching and counseling students in the public schools for twenty years, in her retirement she has dedicated herself to the pursuit of art. Her work is represented by the Arbor Gallery in Merced, the Mariposa Arts Council Gallery in Mariposa, and the Hourian Gallery in San Francisco.
